This Sunday evening La Liga action will provide an interesting encounter between Barcelona and Valencia. These two teams are number two and three in the league respectively and both will want to come out on top of this encounter. The last time the two sides met was back in October and that match was a disappointing goalless affair. Hopefully this time there will be a few balls hitting the back of the net.. 
Valencia are currently in third position in the league but fifteen points behind Barcelona. They have a huge hill to climb if they want to go any higher in the league, and the one thing they won’t want is any of the lower teams catching up with them. Their last game was against Racing Santander and that game was goalless. 
Barcelona are tied on points with Real Madrid and they will be determined to not allow Valencia the opportunity to make them fall behind. Their last game Almeria and that ended with two apiece.
